When Lindsay Martin Carlson agreed to be Amy Ragsdale Design – Client of the Month – Miss February, I set out thinking…. how do I describe this woman? How could I possibly capture the glow, the inquisitiveness and the right out of left field sense of humor? How do I get my readers to feel they have shared a moment with a curiously sensitive woman who appears to have little to no self-doubt?
The best I can do is my silly practice of making her the love child of two figures you might find familiar. So here it goes, Lindsay is the love child of Natalie Wood and Stephen Colbert.
Lindsay leads with a professional handshake and then can take you down with a stand-up routine or pratfall. I haven’t met many people like her and that’s a good thing.
She keeps me on my toes while still creating a place of comfort and friendship. She is client of the month because she is paying attention to details and learning at a voracious rate about what makes a life worth living. And as she sets her goals and achieves her aspirations, she will mark them with a singular design from my workshop. Stay tuned… I think she is dreaming up a signature piece right now, sort of like Guardian Cuff meets Daily Mantra.
And yes, she is a beautiful woman.
